Contemporary, new-fashioned units provided with a double bed, impossibly naff music, exceptional bathroom. Perfect location in a very comfortable area, adjacent to London and Cambridge, and shops and a beautiful park. ...

The hotel of choice in Royston. Charming place with exceptional staff who helped me out when I left something behind in the bedroom after check-out. Pleasant restaurant.
A bit small room.

This hotel was recommended in a wedding invite
The road, the windows are old so we could hear everything even the traffic lights beeping, you took the money out of my account before I had even arrived even though I received an email from you stating the account I gave you was just for a deposit, when I questionned this with the staff they were extremely unhelpful and just shrugged their shoulders

Historic charm in the heart of town
The place is super cozy, and our beautiful room had a comfy bed and all the essentials. The full English breakfast was solid, and the staff were so friendly and helpful! The only bummer was the noisy crowd in the bar when we checked in, which wasn't what we were expecting.

Lovely building in nice town. Room decorated in a modern clean style. Bed was very comfortable.
No hot water in the shower and when we informed them of this we were told this often happens. The phone in the room also didn't seem to work . Staff weren't very helpful in dealing with problems. For £79, I think these things need to be sorted. These tarnished an otherwise lovely stay.

The rooms are small but perfectly formed! They are comfortable and have everything you need.
I came as part of a group and one of the toilets had not been flushed - a basic cleaning point that should not have been missed!

The rooms were grubby, the decor and furniture dated and shabby, our first room was tiny and the inside door handle fell off, which meant we may have been unable to get out. Our second room was big but sloped and faced the beer garden, the sash windows wouldn't stay open, one wouldn't open at all. This room was grubby with just a stand for our clothes with metal hangers swinging from it. The shower was broken. It was too hot and the noise from downstairs until 1.30 am was ridiculous, drunken teenagers and boy racers racing up and down the street. The bed was really uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on the floor. When I complained one member of staff merely said I was the first to complain about their beds, I was not being picky it was horendous, the worst night sleep I have had in ages. We only stayed one night, they refunded the next two.

Great place for a wedding/party venue with marquee out the back. Not so good if you want to get sleep before 12.30! I think it is more of a place to crash when you are at said party. Saying that, the room was nicely decorated and looked...

Cooked breakfast excellent
1.Poor state of maintenance to fixtures and fittings inour room. 2. Room not made up when we arrived at 4pm. 3. On our return lack of tea making facilities. 4 We had to breakfast with work being undertaken in the bar area around us

Lovely comfortable hotel and great food.
Great hotel - only problem was basically see-through curtains so was woken from 6am and difficult to get back to sleep with the light.

Great location. Loved the church bells.
Couldn't get the bathroom window open, but it didn't seem to matter.
